Review & Giveaway: Boogie Wipes

Back in early December, I received a package of Boogie Wipes to test and review.  Oddly enough, I had not a boogie to wipe!  Of course that didn't last, and we have since put the package to good use.

What I Think:

My first impression was that Boogie Wipes are just like baby wipes...they are not.  Though a little chilly and damp to use as a regular tissue, they definitely make a difference when it comes to the crusties.  I used to think, "How can those kids' mothers let them run around with a crusty nose like that?"  Then I had a kid who screamed bloody murder every time I tried to wipe the dried snot.  It's more like picking, and who wouldn't cry about someone holding them down and trying to scrape the nose spackle off their face with a dry tissue.  The Boogie Wipes have seemed to solve that problem.  I found if I let them hold the wipe to their nose for just a few seconds, the saline solution softens the crust and it wipes right off.  So much easier than using the average tissue, and softer than the average baby wipe.  I also like the fact that I'm not wiping a bunch of chemicals across my kid's face.

My kids actually ask for a Boogie Wipe now when they have a stuffy beak.  I'd definitely recommend keeping a pack in the diaper bag during snot season.  There's also a classroom pack for teachers.  Get the kids involved by taking the Save the Sleeve Pledge, and don't forget to join the  Boogie Bunch to get your coupon.
