April's Weight and Measurements

Tuesday, May 1, 2012

So I had posted a challenge to my RHF fitclubbers at the beginning of April: Ditch the Scale.  And I couldn't ask them to do something that I wasn't willing to do.  Being that I knew I wouldn't be able to run or really do any cardio (due to those nasty ligament issues and the dreaded boot), this was scary!  I did my ab work and toning exercises, but it's just not the same without all of the sweat.  I weighed in and took my measurements at the beginning of the month, and then held my breath and did it again yesterday.  Well, as it turns out, not so bad.  It seems that all of the running that I've been doing, not only got my weight down, but kept it there while I was on the disabled list.  I've built my muscle mass, burnt off a ton of that sludge, and developed a healthy metabolism in the meantime.  I also stuck to all of the Simple Changes, Big Rewards.  My waist did go up .25", which I'm not thrilled with, but that could have been mismeasurement or bloating, I did eat a pretty salty dinner on Sunday.  Either way, I'm pretty OK the numbers considering the inactivity.

April            1st - 30th
Height    4'11" - 4'11" (would have been weird if that changed)

Weight 118.6 lbs - 118 lbs
Waist 28.75" - 29"
Hips 37" - 37"
Arm 10.25" - 10"
Thigh 21.5" - 21.5"
